Deepa and Eli Meet the FRISCO Coastal Crab

We picked up a couple of these from Chewy when we got a new pool (we hope to get some video of that online soon).

Meet the FRISCO Coastal Crab Fetch Squeaky Tennis Ball Dog Toy. Deepa and Eli both loved theirs… perhaps a little too much.

How it’s Going

This is after about 12 hours, and it actually lasted a bit longer than we thought it would. Those “claws” were toast almost immediately (no surprise), but the tennis ball is holding up pretty well. The first/feature image up top is one of the toys after several days of pretty intense deconstruction. The other is now largely scraps, with a denuded tennis ball kicking around amidst torn scraps of crabbish-red.

The Verdict

The claws being ripped off were a given; low hanging fruit for a dog toy. Still, the base held up pretty well, particularly on the one that is still in rotation a week later. This is a very cute toy at a $5-$6 price point that both Deepa and Eli enjoyed. Two paws up.
